Atmospheric and Oceanic Studies graduate student Ilissa Ocko presents her research on the ways in which the aerosols sulfate and black carbon have affected earth’s temperature, precipitation, and heat transport over the past century. Using climate models to study these global effects, Ilissa explains the importance of these outcomes and what they mean for mitigating future climate change with respect to altering aerosol emissions.
