Glovebox is a centralized global app that allows consumers to access their home and auto policies regardless of the insurance carrier they are with. They are aimed at helping the independent agency. Smaller, independant #insurance agencies may not possess the technology to meet the immediate needs of their customers, this is where Glovebox comes in. Technology can help fix a lot of the service calls that these agencies receive. This gives the consumer and the agent a much better experience.

As a start-up company, The vision behind Glovebox is to make it very simple for the customers to access their policy. The first thing they want to do is get your policy documents into the app. From there they want to build on accessing this information and making sure it's relevant. They then want to further the integration with the carrier and deepen their API. This would allow you to do simple things like Bill Pay. A lot of times, consumers don't realize they are getting billed when they see an envelope in the mail because they don't know what carrier they are with. Often times it winds up on the trash along with other #insurancemarketing materials. Glovebox would also integrate simple endorsements. They want to protect the agency. Maybe as an agent, you accidentally left off full coverage to close a deal. Glovebox would alert the client using other insurtechs so they can inform their agent. When you initiate a claim, there is no space where you can have the contractor, adjuster, carrier, and the agency all in the know about what is going on with the claim. Glovebox is not just an app, it is a valuable tool for both agencies and consumers.

Most of the big insurance agencies have an app where their clients can access their information. But, for instance, if a client is in the market for a new car or home and they are looking to switch carriers, if they go to your agency and there is no app experience, it may turn potential customers away.
