Very few people know that they can customize their Windows 10 lock screen. The lock screen is the screen you are greeted with when you restart your computer or come back to your computer after it has gone into standby.
Most of the native Windows 10 apps such as mail, messenger and weather can be added to the lock screen immediately after the Windows 10 installation. There is one catch, however. If you don't actually have these apps configured then they will not show up on the lock screen. They also will not show up if there are no notifications to show.
In general, having the lock screen customized can give you "at a glance" information such as notifications and weather. This video will show you how to activate them.
