Coaching has always been something I have admired. At the age of 3, I met my first coach, and little did I know that I would have a coach for the next 17 years. You may ask yourself why did Alma have a coach for 17 years??? Well, you see I was training to be a competitive swimmer. As you can imagine, like with any sport that you train for competitively it takes Dedication, Commitment and Discipline to succeed. I learned very valuable lessons from my coaches throughout the years, 3 of which have stayed with me till this day: how to shatter my self – imposed limitations, go beyond the expected and most importantly to believe in myself. Throughout my journey, I was able to find significance in my life and this is what has motivated me to become a Personal Leadership Effectiveness (PLE) Coach.
