John Vermiglio is a restaurateur and chef, most known for his Detroit-based restaurants: Grey Ghost Detroit, Second Best, and Basan Detroit (coming soon). Earning his stripes in Chicago with chefs Art Smith, Graham Elliot, and Charlie Trotter, Vermiglio returned to his hometown to start building a restaurant empire in Detroit. 

In this episode, John and Manny talk about how John identifies and retains talent as his retention rates are some of the best in the industry. They discuss John's newest restaurant, Basan Detroit, and talk about the impact John wants to leave on future chefs through his restaurants.
