How do you attract new members to your coworking space?

One of the simplest things to do is to have what @michaelport calls an "Always come to event."

So instead of saying:

"Yeah, pop in some time!"

You say, "We have this writing club on Wednesday."

Or

We have this community lunch every Tuesday; come and say hello!

It works because you're inviting people to a time-limited event.

It's risk-free.

If they're there for an hour or two, they know they can get in and out and don't need to make any weird exit excuses.

So then you have something simple and quick to say to people.

Always come to this whenever you are nearby.

You'll meet some great people every time you come.

It's always on, same time, every week, every month.

It's a recurring event.

It's easy for you to remember.

It's easy for your members to remember.

It's easy for the people who might or may not come to remember.

Also, as a community manager, you can make a time box on your schedule for when a group of people will be in your space.

It's better to have ten people come to see the space and connect in one go than ten people for ten random viewings.

Remember, you must tell people about 27 times you have an event before they press a button to book.

(Well, something like that!)
