Gerard Dericks, Ph.D., is the new director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Economic Education at Hawaii Pacific University. He has taught business management and economics at the London School of Economics and the University of Oxford, and is a Fellow of the British Higher Education Academy. Dericks discusses with host Joe Kent the similarities between the economic policies of Hawaii and the United Kingdom, and why they have scared away entrepreneurs in both jurisdictions.
