About Nidhi:I am a Toronto-based Birth and Postpartum Ayurvedic Doula. I started off as a medical student in Europe for 8 years and in 2015 I decided to return home to Canada to connect back with myself and look for alternative and holistic methods of healing.  My Spiritual and Emotional journey lead me to reconnect back with my Indian heritage and roots of Yoga, Ayurveda, Massage, Herbalism & Birth Work.I have also been connected to many  Shamanic works with Indigenous Medicines and Ceremonies and also offer personalized Womb Healing ceremonies  My time in medical  school showcased how much of a lack emotional awareness there was and still is . It pushed me to look for other modalities of healing . I found my way into birth work where the nurturing and supporting component was so natural to me. I started to fall deeply in love with this beautiful journey and the families that u would support . Since 2017 I have actively been a Doula and have helped over 70+ families in their birth and postpartum journey. Uniquely tailoring their specification, and what is most important to them. I am also currently studying to become a clinical herbalist, I am a yoga instructor, Thai massage therapist, and provide education on essential oils usage  - especially during pregnancy labour and postpartum  I combine my western medical intuition and insight along with my ancient knowledge to bring the  most balanced and conscious journey families will embark on.
