The Ideal - Unity Among God's People
The Obstacle - The Selfishness of the Human Heart
The Result - Loneliness (Selfishness ALWAYS Results in Loneliness)
The Choice - Polarization, or Incarnation
The incarnation of Jesus reminds us that we don't have to look out for ourselves, because God has looked out for us once-and-for-all through Christ. A response of incarnation means we are free of fighting:
Our Pasts (Humility)
FOR our Future (Compassion - fighting FOR people, not against people)
IN The Present (Unity)
