Hello and welcome to another episode of the Perception Podcast with me your host Caroline Partridge. Once again I have the utmost pleasure of talking to award-winning therapist Sally Baker. Today we tackle the subject of our behaviours around alcohol. We examine what makes us drink to excess, how we normalise abnormal and unsafe behaviours around drinking, and the staggering psychological and physiological changes that begin to occur when we abstain from alcohol for an extended period, Sally also offers some excellent strategies of how to combat the temptation of falling off the waggon and red flags to look out for in our relationships when we decide to stop drinking. I have also included some useful contacts in the show notes if you or anyone you know is affected by the issues we cover in this episode. Please join me as we look at life through a different lens.
