In this episode of The Leader Within. I’m excited to introduce one of my allies, Jilliane Yawney. She is the founder of Jilliane Yawney Coaching and Consulting & one of the largest story slams in Canada. As a non-prescriptive speaking coach who is focused on empowering corporate teams in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Jilliane turns scientists and engineers into confident speakers and storytellers. She rejects old school public speaking that is nit-picky, prescriptive, and (let's be honest) wants every person to sound like a dominant
extrovert with a deep voice. Her work is focused on helping each individual find comfort using their voice in a creative and thoughtful way, so that teams can excel and you can sleep the night after giving your presentation.
