How to become a devoted member

When church members are devoted to the church, reverential

fear of respect develops for the members, pastors and the

church.

Devotion of members to the church brings a sense of awe to the

church.

Acts 2:43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders

and signs were done by the apostles.

Devotion to the church also brings the manifestation of the spirit

through sighs and wonders.

Acts 4:33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of

the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon

them all.

Devoted members receive special grace and favor from the

Lord.

Devotion to the church will also cause God to add the church.

Acts 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people.

And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be

saved.

Devotion starts from the mind, it is a mind set, so decide in your

mind to be a devoted member to the church you belong.

How to become a devoted church member .

1. See yourself as a permanent member of a church.

If you are a permanent member, you give your best, you offer

yourself as a living sacrifice. Do not be committed to a church

because of convenience.

2. Compare your relationship to the church to that of a marriage.

Love the church just as Christ love the church. Your attitude

towards the church should be love as describe in 1 Corinthians

13:4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful

or proud  or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not

irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.

It does not

rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins

out.  Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful,
