How to Bounce Back when Everything is going wrong.
Welcome to “Insights on Healing a weekly Podcast.” Today’s Episode is “How to bounce back when everything is going wrong.” You will learn the importance of praying to God in your distress and trusting Him as he guides you through your difficulty.
My name is Joan M. Blake, author, and I am your host. Insights on Healing includes the reading of Scripture, praying for my audience, reading from one of my books, and interviewing individuals who found purpose in their lives through the healing power of God.
The purpose of this podcast is to provide content that brings emotional healing and restoration to those who are dealing with trauma and other difficult life issues. I pray as you listen to this episode, that God would bless you with inner strength, purpose, and provide you with the hope that you have been longing for. In today’s podcast I will give examples from Jesus’ ministry and Apostle Paul’s ministry to help you bounce back.
2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’[b]”
5 Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. 6 “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written:
“‘He will command his angels concerning you,
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’[c]”
7 Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’[d]”
8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. 9 “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”
10 Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’[e]”
11 Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.
Let us Pray:
Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray that everyone who is going through issues today that they will come to an understanding of your will for their lives. I pray that every stronghold in their lives will be broken and I decree they will have joy, peace, and understanding that you are their Father, and you want the best for them in the name of Jesus. I pray that you would bless and keep them in Jesus’ name, Amen.
