How can we remember to come home to ourselves through every stage of life? Often, life requires us to be brave and step out of our shells if we want to truly live. In what ways are you living bravely?
Andrea Trenholm is a Freelance Researcher & Consultant with a Ph.D. in Educational Studies from the University of New Brunswick. Specializing in Indigenous education, settler-Indigenous relations, and treaties, she’s currently spearheading a Treaty Education project to bring much-needed resources to public schools in her province, New Brunswick, Canada. Passionate about listening and learning from stories, Andrea applies a narrative, strengths-based approach to all her research. Nine years ago, an infertility diagnosis led Andrea to rethink her path, prompting a shift away from traditional academia to build a flexible research and consulting business. Now, as a grateful mom of two, she balances the joys and challenges of family life with her professional passions. Meditation keeps her grounded, while pushing her physical limits helps her thrive amidst the ups and downs of parenthood and solo-preneurship. With plans to launch her own podcast in the Fall of 2024, Andrea is excited to share more Stories That Move Us.
