Isaiah 43:18-19

““Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. 19  Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.”

2 Corinthians 5:17

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

In order to break your own record you must reflect. When you reflect you are able to look back at what you have done. Looking back at what you have done in the past can help determine what you need to change and also what you need to keep the same in order to break your own record.
