How did your background inspire you to be where you are today? (05:15)

• Me and my wife met in a bar. We started with a long-distance relationship and ended up raising a family in Kansas City. 
• Opportunities are everywhere. I started working on the road for the first four years- but led to a consultant role and got into the Canada computer thing. 

The start of Purple Guys (09:36)

• For some reason, I always liked purple as our logo color. I always draw mockups with purple ink- and it sticks. Purple Guys logo was created
• We started really small. But through hard work and teamwork, we went from 0 to 90 employees, and $0 to $10 million

The secret sauce? (17:23)

• The secret sauce is my spouse. There's no way I can do what I do without my wife. It’s a team-up. It's a good combination.
• Focus on the core skills that were the highest need in your area. This will separate you from your competitor.
