Confidence to me is being okay with being me, not comparing myself to how someone looks and what they wear or changing myself to being someone I think will be liked the most. Never dull yourself down to please other people, realise that adopting the ‘idgaf’ mentality is all about building up the most authentic version of yourself and not caring of people don’t like it. When you become confident in yourself you find so much happiness and romance within the world because YOU and truly YOU are now in it. Confidence is fake it till you make it, but also lack of confidence can stem down to your environment and peers. Learn the art of cutting people off and recognising it as self care, if there is a voice inside you that so desperately wants to wear a full metallic suit - listen to it, heal it and nurture it because it is a side of you that wants to come out. If you are scared of being judged for wearing a cool outfit in public, that person may ‘judge’ you for two seconds then you will never see them ever again so who cares what they think! ILY
