What does confidence mean to you? How would you define it for yourself or in yourself?

Do you consider yourself confident? In what areas of your life are you confident? Are you more confident in some areas than others?

If you're like I used to be, you might believe confidence is something you're born with--you either have it or you don't. Wrong. I wasn't born a confident baseball player, I BECAME a confident baseball player through failure, resiliency and a belief in myself.

Sports was something I became very confident in, oftentimes believing that I was the best around. But what happened when that part of my life came to an end? My confidence disappeared along with it.
