“The coolest thing I learned knocking on doors was that Jamie Foxx said in an interview his ability to speak in public came from his 2 years knocking on doors. He said it was the equivalent of a Master’s Degree in Communications.”
In this episode of The Credentials Show, we are joined by Joey Darshan. Joey is a fraternity brother of our host, Charles, and his father told him at a young age to figure out how to get paid through brainpower and not through back power. The problem was he had nothing to focus his brain on. Now Joey is running the Darshan Group which is poised to become a Real Estate development company after successfully buying and selling a duplex for profit (he explains fully). To get to this point though it took a lot of failing forward because this wasn't Joey's dream plan all along. As he said in this interview, fear and insecurity was the main factor in pushing him to get started in real estate. Plus throughout the conversation, Joey shares specific books and podcasts that he was able to get ahold of along the way which was crucial to his development.
