The scriptures were originally written in three different languages: Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, which means, if you read an English or Spanish Bible, you’re relying on the work of translators. But of the many translations and paraphrases available, which ones are correct and which ones are closest to the original? This class led us through an awareness of some of the exegetical choices and what drives them so we could study with confidence.
