The number one prayer request I receive today is “Charlie, will you pray for all the lonely people?” And my response is always, “Yes, of course.” And then I got to thinking — as born again, Spirit-filled believers, we should never be lonely, because we have Jesus living on the inside of us through His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our advocate, our comforter, our friend. When we realize that God is not distant from us, but that He is part of us, walking with us, holding our hand everyday, we should never feel lonely.
