Getting started in real estate can be challenging, especially when you don’t know what or how to do things you have to do, like talking to investors. A lot of people will tell you how to get deals or where to find them, but how do you move forward to the next step?

When I started years ago, I had no idea how I would talk to investors either. I was just so desperate that when I called my first investor, I went in without anything but my deal in mind. It got me the deal, but it isn’t the right way to do it!
