We’re discussing a topic that touches upon the aspect of content consumption in the new age, and learning. Especially in today’s world, where there are multiple means through which we’re constantly consuming content, is having information equivalent to knowledge. Sure, etymologically speaking knowledge is derived from the word “know” and therefore the two words information and knowledge can be synonymous. However, semantically speaking they are worlds apart. Perhaps information is cheaply available whereas what we make of that information can determine one’s knowledge. This conversation is about understanding this aspect of consuming information in the new age.
