When many people hear the word introvert, they picture a nail-biter, cowering in his or her bedroom, refusing to interact with the rest of the world. Frankly, this definition of introvert misses the mark by a long shot. But it is true that introverts sometimes feel nervous around certain people and for a variety of other reasons.
