Three Things We Learned From This Episode
Track your numbers
You can’t make smart decisions for your business if you don’t have records of all your transactions. Record where you’ve done business and the profits you’ve made. To move forward and make plans for your business in the future, you have to know what has worked- and what hasn’t- in the past.
Keep your team small
If you’re a team leader, you need to be in a position where you can actually lead a team. The easiest way to do this is by keeping the group small. This way, you’ll be able to encourage them and focus your attention on holding everyone accountable.
Find a coach or mentor
Look for someone who will be able to coach and mentor you, and teach you the basics. More importantly, don’t look for this person expecting to learn for free. Great mentors have great experience- so don’t try find the cheapest option. You get what you pay for.
