What is accessibility in design and why is it so important?
According to official government data, there are between 4 and 7 million people with disabilities in Poland, so they make up about 18% of our society. Why do so many companies overlook the issue of designing their websites or applications with accessibility of content for people with disabilities in mind?
This question will be answered by our guest speaker Kalina Tyrkiel, Content Writer and UX Writing Trainer. Kalina will point out good practices for designing content so that it is accessible for use by everyone, tell us what a properly designed website is and how to adapt your designs to different types of disabilities, and explain why having separate versions of products/websites for this group of people is an outdated approach.
