Mark has been creating on-demand audio since 2004, started his first podcast network in 2008 and founded Podiant in 2016, a company that helps podcasters produce, post and promote their podcasts. Mark started the 5pm Club because he wanted to learn to make cocktails, and when Mark has a drink in his hand, he likes to talk about podcasting.

Not a drinker? Not a problem. Mark will be making non-alcoholic cocktails too.

The 5pm Club takes a different approach to other podcasts-about-podcasting. It's not an advice show or a news briefing (that's the other British guy). Nor does it focus on the New York media scene's narrow definition of podcasting as an extension of American public radio.
