There’s a famous saying from Roman philosopher Seneca that says ,“Luck Is What Happens When Preparation Meets Opportunity.”
The difference between lucky people and unlucky people is our perspective.
And that’s the funny thing about luck. There’s actually nothing “lucky” about it.
Luck is defined as the success or failure apparently brought by chance rather than through one's own actions.
So what does that look like?
That looks like a lucky overnight success story, because we never see the hard work. We don’t see the backend. We only see the front end. We only see the glorious part of waking up one day and seeing that number in our bank account, or getting the phone call from a boss or contact that we have been working towards. It looks like luck, because we don’t see the work and the preparation that it takes to actually get to where “Successful people” are.
Again, luck is defined as the success or failure apparently brought by chance rather than through one's own actions.
So let's dive into what I call, "the success cocktail," how you can create your own luck and ultimately meet your success face to face today.
