Identifying as 'anorexic' makes all aspects of recovery feel WRONG and BAD. Gaining weight, eating more food, eating fear foods, grappling with hunger cues etc...; all of this is NECESSARY, yet can cause immense guilt and shame because it clashes with our self-perception. It can make us feel like we are 'failing' at starvation (for example), but that feeling is only there because your 'anorexic' sense of self has been in control. It's time to change that...
