This week we are joined by Johndanial, to discuss, "Gratitude and Resilience". Johndanial is an immigrant from Iraq. Due to the war, religion, and political circumstances, Johndanial and his family were forced to leave their homeland. After living in Lebanon for 2 years, him and his family were able to immigrate to the United States of America in 2010. When Johndanial arrived to the US, He spoke no English, knew no one besides his immediate family, and definitely was not ready to discover how cold Minnesota can get in the winter. Johndanial has been living in the United States of America for 11 years and he’s been working on building his American dream since then.
