How To Escape A Busy Mindset & Become A Productive Entrepreneur with Chase Smith

Listen Later

Having a healthcare entrepreneur's life is lonely, but building a community where you can always check in to see what your clients are up to is one of the greatest things you can do as a business owner. But how do you make your clients feel like they are part of a family within your business? And how can you create a safe space within a community where people can share their struggles from day-to-day life experiences?

Chase Smith is the CEO and Head Coach of Chasing Health LLC, an online health coaching business helping those who have a significant amount of weight to lose. From being close to 400 pounds to losing over 100 pounds and now helping others with their own weight loss journey! Chase also has a background as a registered nurse working in psych/mental health and emergency nursing.

This week’s Healthcare Hacks and Connections, Nathan Navas and Chase Smith will talk about how to get out of a busy mindset to a productive mindset, from side hustle to full-time business owner, and how to pave the way on a weight loss journey while making people feel that they are not alone, because there are a lot of people who went through the same journey as them.

They will touch on such topics as:

  • Allow your client to feel better about themselves throughout their journey with you, and make them realize that they are not doing it alone because they have a large team behind them.
  • How making your own schedule allows you to manage your effort and time for the things that you need to get done. But the downside of flexibility is that when you don’t know what to do with your time, it will quickly disappear before you realize it.
  • There’s a difference between being busy and being productive. There are times when you are busy and feel like you are doing so much all the time, but you never get anything done.
  • One of the biggest things in life is knowing that there are going to be many ups and downs, especially in the business industry. Just realize that it’s okay to have these struggles because they are part of our life. You just have to roll with the punches and recourse correctly.
  • Every failure you make is a lesson learned. You should pull out a lesson from every single one of them, either good or bad, which will be compounded to make you who you are today.
  • The bad day isn’t the one that will define you, but what defines you is how you react to that bad day itself.
  • Coaching doesn’t require anything that is life or death decision making. Just make a decision that you can think of and make your best decision that you think is best for you.
  • Upload all the content you’ve made to all of your social media platforms to spread your content as much as you can. All your actions should lead to areas where the audience can get value from you.

Hack: You can’t fail unless you give up. There will be times when you feel like a failure, which makes your subconscious mind criticize yourself. In that period of time, we just need to remind ourselves that we can do this and get through this.
