One thing we all have struggled with in the military is fitness report time. You line up outside your CO's office or get called over the 1MC one by one, you go in, get your debrief, see how you are compared to others, then repeat a year later.
The crazy part of this is that you could be performing amazing, but may get a lower ranking due to longevity aboard the ship.
Today's guest is author, speaker, and mentor Renee Vidor. She wrote the book Measuring Up, and helps people like you and me see the value in measuring ourselves against different standards than what we are used to.
