Every day, I focus on doing something to "beat" the hell out of myself. Like many things in life, I think our spiritual teachers have missed the mark. 

This idea of hell is not something we are to fear in our afterlife. It is something we face and must master every day of our lives right here and now. 

Think about it. If you wanted to, you could surrender your mind to the fear, anxiety, resentment, and depression that want to dwell there. 

But, every day you have the opportunity to take command of your mind and eradicate the hell that wants to set up camp. 

Do something every day that gets the hell out of your system.
