How to interpret the Bible has been a question for mankind since its completion. At present, suggestions on how the text should be approached abound; however, the most important question concerns God’s expectations. Has He given a book whose interpretation is left to the discretion of the reader, or has He given instructions concerning interpretation? This study will focus on the teachings of the New Testament in relation to its interpretation.
