Today I want to talk about how to get more done in life, and learn how to know where to put your effort in.

Going big and trying more things is often the best way to create success. When you take enough chances, and create enough output, eventually you'll be sure to have at least one success under your belt. Now, that can be a secret to guaranteed success, but don't underestimate the power of working smart.

What it means to work smart is to be strategic in the way you approach a problem or ambition. It's aiming your approach in such a way that you can "shortcut" your way to success, and accomplish more with less effort.

This is where the 80/20 rule, also known as the Pareto Principle, comes in. The Pareto Principle states that, in everything you do, 20% of your effort brings 80% of your success.
