As Christians we often hear how God would have us forgive those who have offended us.  There’s truth in this and it is important.

But when it comes to the deep wounds of narcissistic abuse, trying to forgive feels impossible - even insulting!

At best we feel like a guilty failure because we just can’t do it.  At worst it stirs tremendous anger & resentment in us - even anger toward God.

We understand the struggle associated with this.  You’ll find no self-righteous judgment from us because we’ve experienced it too.

The problem is that holding onto the righteous indignation associated with deep offenses committed against us isn’t protecting us, hurting the narcissist or bringing about justice.

It’s holding us in bondage so we need to do something about it.

There’s another way to approach this whole subject that I think you’ll find refreshing and freeing.

So pour yourself a cup of tea, get comfy and let’s talk about how to feel safe giving offenses to God when justice hasn’t been served.
