How to figure out who you are and what you want | Sina Fak
What have we done to our children?
And why do we human’s keep doing the same thing over and over somehow expecting a different result? (I’d credit Einstein but it turns out he never said this).
These were the first thoughts that went through my head when I was talking to Sina Fak.
The answer to the first question is we’ve done to our children what our parents did to us.
They put us into boxes (schools), told us to memories textbooks, and most of all to follow rules.
The outcome was predictable. As young adults most of us didn’t have the slightest idea of what really mattered to us. So we ended up making decisions without any direction, attaching ourselves to outcomes that we’d been told were important, only to end up feeling empty, confused, and frustrated.
For some of us things changed when we were shaken by an infrastructure rattling event like a heart attack, a divorce, or the death of a loved one. Sadly many others will go through life suffering through dull pains without ever addressing them.
Sina Fak is on a mission to help those people, and in June 2017, he became a partner at The Passion Centre. Founded by Kira Day, The Passion Centre a is a social venture that focuses on self-discovery and personal intelligence models as the foundation for driving participant personal and/or professional ventures forward.
