One of my favorite quotes is, “Do you remember who you were before the world told you who you should be?”
I think many of us lose our identity in our accomplishments, our work, our pursuits, our credentials, or our talents. But when those things are stripped away or even taken from us, we often lose the confidence in our intrinsic value.
Today’s guest is my friend Rebekah Lyons and author of the new book, “Your Are Free: Be Who You Already Are”. In this new release, she teaches people how to deny the lie so many of us believe: The lie that our worth is what others think of us. The lie that causes us to compare and strive and exist mostly for the approval of others.
