Jesse Bradley was a self-defined atheist from a family full of non-believers and mixed faiths, as a kid.  He dreamed of being a professional basketball player, but it never happened. He did, however, become a pro soccer player.  He also almost died, when soccer took him to Zimbabwe, where he was tutoring students as well. What he never imagined as a kid is that he'd end up a pastor, leading others with his strong faith. We talk gratitude, encouragement, faith and overcoming the hard knocks of life and growing as a result of them.    SHOW NOTES:  “Sometimes the greatest blessings and experiences in life are things that you didn’t plan or never seen coming,” (02:42). They’re seasons in your life when you just feel like you’re doing the right thing, you’re in the right spot, it’s so fulfilling, and that’s where I feel like I am right now, (03:53). “I think honest, humble conversations are so positive, I think in our country right now, being able to disagree and still love each other that’s something we need to enter into because whether it’s political or spiritual it’s important that we understand each other, value each other can go deep and still respect our differences,” (12:33). And that’s how it is in life with “NO”s, a door closes someone sees something in you a talent, or an ability comes alongside enters the picture and in your radar, (20:16). When that alignment from heaven, other people, and doing what you’re made to do, your heart can feel the healing and that’s when your healthy and persevering, (29:49). Being sincere is not enough, it has to be true and real, (37:46). The truth hurts but that’s when growth happens, the revealing happens before the healing and without the revealing there’s no healing, (39:10). For anybody going through a career shift or transition, start by looking for things that seem interesting to you, (40:33). Sometimes in our lives we’re going to have to make some sacrifices, however you could find the greatest joy and be at peace, (47:44). The word “NO” actually means it’s time to look for the best opportunity and time to get on your knees and start praying, (53:50). Rocky is a movie that stands out to me the most because of his perseverance and if I could tell the younger version of myself something it would be to not take myself too seriously, and have reassurance in God’s love, (57:03).     LINKS:   Podcast: https://www.oneplace.com/ministries/living-vine/   https://www.crosswalk.com/devotionals/activate-with-pastor-jesse-bradley/   https://www.twr360.org/speakers/view/id,347   Book: https://www.amazon.com/Rooted-Grace-Jesse-Bradley/dp/110551725X   http://www.lulu.com/shop/jesse-bradley/a-new-season/paperback/product-20743159.html   Twitter: https://twitter.com/JesseJBradley?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor      RELATED PAST EPISODES OF 10,000 "No"s: Jon Gordon: https://www.10000nos.com/episodes/ep-73-best-sellingnbspauthorspeaker-procollege-sport-amp-fortune-500-leadership-consultantnbspnbspjon-gordon-on-grit-attitudenbspnbspamp-faith?rq=god  Linden Ashby: https://www.10000nos.com/episodes/ep-8-linden-ashby-melrose-place-to-teen-wolf   If you like what you  hear, please Subscribe, leave an iTunes review and  spread the word.
