On today's episode we will give you a working list on how to find the best dental office to suit your needs! Here's how:
1. Get Referrals- Word of mouth by those you know, love and trust.
2. Check their Reviews- Google, Yelp and their website
3. Research the Dentist’s Credentials- Do they have experience in what you are needing?
4. Find out where they went to school- What is that schools’ philosophy/motto? Does it mention excellent care for the patient?
5. Consider the Dentist’s Experience- How long have they been practicing? What do they love to do? Do they have much experience in what you will be coming to them for? (crowns, dentures etc.)
6. Evaluate Communication Style- Call the office, ask for a consult, even make a visit to check out what you can by just stopping in.
***Be prepared with all your questions. Be open and honest about your troubles of being there or with any issues you are facing in completing your dental care. The dentist and staff will help match you with the best assistant and hygienist that suits your needs.
Realize that this is a new or WILL be a new experience for you. By adopting and living in the referrals good experience, this can help you overcome the anxiousness that may arise when scheduling and going to the new dental office.
