Step 1: Browse job boards every day.

• Sign up for several relevant job boards for your discipline
• Filter listings to find projects, save your searches and have results automatically emailed to you
• Bookmark at least 20 per week (about 5 per day)

Step 2: Research every lead

• Carefully read the job listing description to identify their problem(s)
• Thoroughly research the person to contact
• Do your research to learn more about the company's story

Step 3: Use an email script

This email has one goal: get leads to reply with a simple yes. Here's the script Justin uses.

I was just reading your article about HSA accounts. I have an HSA but had no idea the limit increased this year. Thanks for the tip! I also noticed you're looking for a Web developer.
