The problem is we don't have what it takes to fight the unseen battle within us and around us.  The solution is to gain a strength other than our own, God's strength through His Spirit.  We do this because everything is at stake and because the Devil prowls around like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour.  If we don't take this spiritual battle seriously we could be getting chewed up and not even know it.
