Most advice about the past doesn’t work because it isn’t actually a process, it’s just a way of avoiding the thing. In this video I break down the real five-part framework for getting over your past: analyzing it without flinching, connecting it to your present behavior, installing a belief that reframes it, choosing to forgive, and extracting the lesson so you can burn the pain as fuel instead of suppressing it.
I walk through my own experience with being bullied, and the much harder thing I had to face, the version of myself who became a bully to stop being a target. This isn’t a clean five-step fix. It’s a real process with setbacks built in, and it’s the same framework I’ve used to alchemize multiple moments from my own past into the work I do today.
