Emily is very passionate about what she does with water safety and drowning prevention. Listen as she shares how she started following her passion with Water Safety and Drowning Prevention, as she learned through mentorship.

She was introduced to water before she could walk. She is at home in the pool and around water.

Emily Wujcik is the Aquatics and Safety Coordinator for Saint Louis University. She works in Campus Recreation and Wellness, working collaboratively with other professional staff and student workers. I am a current active member of the National Drowning Prevention Alliance (NDPA)

She was the Graduate Assistant for NDPA at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Where she earned a Masters of Science degree in Sport Management in August of 2017.

She has earned a Bachelor's degree from Slippery Rock University (SRU) in May of 2016 in Early Childhood and Special Education with a Minor in Aquatics. While at SRU, I was an Assistant Coach to the Slippery Rock Eels Swim team for age group swimmers (ages 5-18) for a full 3 seasons.

She currently hold many different certifications. Those of which include certifications from the American Red Cross being a Lifeguard Instructor (LGI), Water Safety Instructor (WSI), Lifeguard, CPR, AED, Emergency Oxygen, First Aid. I also have FEMA Incident Command 100, 200 and 700 level certifications.
