As the Christmas season is upon us I was pleased to get my Christmas lights up! I must admit it was a daunting challenge. The little clips start breaking every once in a while and I had to tape those areas. What causes you to go a little wonky? Maybe you've read the little children's book called the Wonky Donkey?
If you haven't already read that book I'd encourage you to grab a copy because it will make you smile.
As we head into Christmas we have this theme we call the advent theme so we can celebrate Christ as we celebrate His birthday.
We talk about hope, joy, love, and peace. In this episode, we talk a little bit about peace.
When things don't go right it can be upsetting. Sometimes it's the choices and decisions we make. The reality is that as much as we want Christmas
sometimes it creates a whole lot of tension because we have these unfulfilled expectations.
We realize as we head toward Christmas gathering together with family and friends that sometimes it's not all that exciting. Relating to things that may have happened in the past and discouragement.
Have you ever had somebody say to you - "Why don't you get your act together?"
Dr. David Sherbino joins me as my guest and is my brother. an author, a registered therapist, a pastor, and teaches at Tyndale Seminary. He talks with us about how we can get our act together. Why is it that things in the back of our mind we know we need to go and don't do it?
