Girl, when was the last time you checked IN with yourself? When was the last time you took a moment and ask yourself:How are you?When I look back at my life, it brings tears in my eyes. The years of torturing my body to look a certain way to be validated. 

 

The years of toxic relationships to feel loved. 

 

The years of working overtime and three jobs to pay for everyone and everything to feel valuable. The years of giving up on myself and being so harsh and critical. The years of doing all the right things to find myself feeling wrong. 

 

When I look back and I imagine all these things could be happening to my future daughter I just want to hug her, comfort her, and tell her that she is supported, loved and understood. For today, just today, I want you to check in with yourself. Where in your life you are in survivor mode? Giving more than you are allowing to receive?Is it in your mental wellbeing, physical wellbeing, financial well being? 

How can you check IN and see where you can set boundaries, where you can say NO to things that are not in your highest good?And, how would you advise your young daughter you love so dearly to LOVE herself enough to go from surviving to thriving?
