Andy Baker is a registered professional engineer in Alaska and owner of YourCleanEnergy consulting in Anchorage. A graduate in civil engineering from Penn State University, he regularly speaks on the theory, design, and installation of renewable energy technologies suitable for northern climates. Andy is a member of the American Solar Energy Society and designer of numerous solar hot water and grid-tied solar photovoltaic (PV) systems now operating in the Anchorage Bowl. Since 2009 he’s served as the organizer of the Annual Anchorage Solar Tour, a free public event due to be held again on Saturday, May 12.
