Now, back to the topic, how do you harness your opportunities now? In the early days when I, uh, started trying to engage on social media, one of the things that I started out doing was I would.
Um, I would locate content. Okay. That was helpful to me. And then I would share it with my community. At the time, I felt that I had to write out the content as a blog post, because that was, was mostly what I would share. I would share blog posts or I would share, uh, tweets by other, um, By other personalities.
And I would let my community have access to all of that content. But at a point I got really frustrated by doing that because I knew that, um, my audience would really like to hear from me and I was offering them content that was generated by someone else who didn't sound like me. And I felt. That I was offering them second or third hand value.
Then I began to look out for a way to give them valuable content right now. Um, initially I felt that I needed to write blog posts. And even though I'm a, a competent, um, writer, I can compose a short articles or even, uh, notes to people, but. When I think of your blog post it's like my brain just freezes. I just like, Oh God, I'm going to have to sit down and then write this bloke was, and then out here people say, Oh, it has to be 2000 words long.
And I'm like, God, for good. I am not going to sit down writing 2000 words. I wasn't very comfortable with composition in primary school. I wasn't comfortable with essay writing in secondary school, you know, but. I excelled at something. I would always have my name written down, um, on the list of noisemakers in class.
