Relationships are not easy.

Befoer I got married, I created an 8-page detailed outline of who my "person" would be. 

How she thought. 

What she did. 

How she acted. 

Who she was. 

I covered everything. 

I would go out on dates, and if someone checked 8 of the 10 boxes I had outlined, I would punt. 

She'd never get a call back. 

There would be no second date. 

But once I met Amy, that changed the game for me. 

She not only checked all the boxes, she was more than what I had written down. 

Here's the message. 

Be extremely clear about what you want in a partner, especially a life partner. 

What you say outloud and write down, shows up. 

But you have to be intentional. 

If you want to have a great relationship, find someone who checks all your boxes.
