How To Know If Your Love Is Genuine

Love (Agape) is life’s most powerful, spiritual force. Love is God’s character, God’s motivation, God’s reach to us. God’s Love is granted without conditions, and does not diminish. God’s love is received and connected by our new birth through Christ and is developed by the presence of His Spirit in us!

Love: the test of a True disciple (John 13:34,35; 1 John 4:20)

Agape Love is the heart and character of God! (John 3:16; 1 John 4:16)

Review

Bears all things: that are allowed by God, can have redemptive value; that love calls for.

Believes all things: Faith works in atmosphere of Love (Galatians 5:6)

Without faith …. (Hebrews 11:6)

Hopes all things: The spiritual force from God which calls for a result not presently seen.

Endures all things love calls for

✷ Love grows by obedient action, deposits

✷ Love is NOT manufactured by us. We do, however, participate in, partner with, love’s development. Love’s development is progressive, incremental …. a journey.

✷ Love is unconditional …. But doesn’t affirm all choices!
